Extreme
Makeover
Every year we all
come together as a church and help our community out in some way. We would love
to partner with you to make 2008’s community project a success. Set aside May
3rd for another Extreme Makeover!
In 2006 400 people
from Broadway worked three Saturday’s at an elementary school right down the
street from us. We completed projects such as: scrapping paint from windows,
planting trees, painting a mural, building picnic tables, yard work and much
more. We also raised money to purchase new playground equipment for them.
Extreme Makeover:
City
Light
We chose City Light
a local women’s and children’s shelter for our 2007 Extreme Makeover. We worked
hard painting, planting flowers, building cabinets, building pillars and much
more. We were also able to raise money and purchase a much needed washer and
dryer set for the shelter. The lives of the women and children at City Light
and those from Broadway were forever changed
Trunk
Or Treat
Every year we hold
a harvest party for our church and community on October 31st. We have astro jumps, puppet shows, a hay maze, games, bungee jumps,
live music, cotton candy, hot dogs, popcorn, hot chocolate, coffee, and TONS of
candy! All FREE! This is a time to reach out and get to know our community.
Mark your calendars to attend or volunteer at our annual TRUNK OR TREAT!
Family,
Flicks & Fun
In 2007 our youth
took a week to serve our community in ‘iBoise’ a
local missions trip. They put on Family, Flicks &
Fun for our community. They spent the whole week handing out fliers around town
and telling people about the event. 3,000 people from the Treasure Valley came
to enjoy Astro Jumps, Bungee Jumps, Live Music,
Balloon Animals, Giveaways, Face painting, And tons of food! When the sun set a
movie was played on the big screen. This was a great opportunity to serve our
community and invite them to Broadway.
